Faboo!!!!

I’ve popped over to Faboo, a swimwear store, where you can pick up some free group gifts -cute rainbow bikini for the girls, mesh swim trunks for the guys. It’s free to join the Faboo group. There’s also a nice range (and this is more ‘naturist’ related than swimwear is) of pareo style sundresses.

Also available, for L$100, is something called a ‘snatch patch’. I didn’t buy, as I’m not entirely sure what it’s supposed to achieve, particularly the bikini version, so if anyone has one of these, I’d be pleased if you could let me know.snatch patch_001bI’m guessing that the naked version is intended to give a sense of realism to those ladies who don’t ‘display’ much underneath, but I’m not 100% certain.

Su(san) at Su(casa)

One of the things we love about Su Casa, amongst many other things, is that it is a great patron of art, with several displays of RL into SL art by talented artists.

I though I’d point you in the general direction of some work by Susan Paquot, whose art -RL paintings turned into SL artefacts- is available for free (although you can make a donation of you wish).

I have to say that I’m not an expert on art, by any stretch of the imagination, so I hope that I don’t do Susan a disservice by stating that there’s something sort of ‘French Impressionist’ (Seurat, Renoir) in her work. Of course, my interpretation may be because I don’t know art on a much deeper level than ‘the big hits’, art that, as with some songs, everyone knows. I do apologise if this oversimplifies things for any of you who may be art experts, and to Susan herself if this is not her intention.

My favourite is the one on the right, although all three would certainly hang in the lounge of the SL home I keep promising myself ‘imminently’.

What I also like about them is that they aren’t focusing on breasts or genitalia. There’s a sense of them showing the freedom and carefree aspect of naturism, without a need to focus on specific parts of the body. And that, in my mind, absolutely gets to the core of what naturism is all about! It’s not a focus on breasts or genitals. It’s focusing on a sense of freedom.

Motivation’s hard….

It has to be said that we’re not used to this sort of heat in the UK. I began yesterday full of good intentions, but by mid-morning my energy had been sapped by the heat, and plans to work on SLN related stuff had been long since replaced with RL naturist related stuff. We filled a paddling pool, and I spent as long sitting around in it as the children did. I finally dragged myself out of it, and into clothes, for the trip to the local store to pick up some barbecue stuff, and it was back home to get out of sweaty clothes again and let Mr.Keng (seen here at a hammock at Su Casa) do a bit of cooking. When we finally put the children to bed it was back out, energy entirely sapped, to have a nice bottle of wine on our patio, still nude of course, and watch the solar lights around the garden come into their own. We finally made it indoors after midnight, lay on top of the duvet all night, and I got up at 530am again so that we can do it all over again!

With yet another day of ‘nothing on’ 😉 ahead, I might try to get some of the backlog of posts published, but I can’t promise anything. The allure of the sun, and some unexpected RL garden naturism, is just too much!
