For some odd reason, this story -dating back to 2006- has gone top 10 in the BBC’s list of ‘most read stories’ today. Yep, it’s official….kind of. Indian men have smaller penises that other places around the globe, apparently.
Why this? Why now? Why, seven years after the event, has it popped up in the BBC’s ‘most read’? It may be that it doesn’t take a huge number of reads to get it into the Top 10, and once there it kind of goes ‘viral’. Who knows? Who cares?
Although I’d take issue with Sunil Mehra, the former editor of the Indian version of the men’s magazine Maxim.
“It’s not size, it’s what you do with it that matters,” he said in 2006.
“From our population, the evidence is Indians are doing pretty well.
“With apologies to the poet Alexander Pope, you could say, for inches and centimetres, let fools contend.”
Um…surely the population of India -or anywhere else on the face of the globe, for that matter- is as a result of not using condoms!
Anyway…having found the item in my hand in my inventory, I couldn’t resist asking my Indian friend Ravi to pose with me for this post 🙂
(Thanks, Ravi, for being a terrific sport about this! 🙂 And…ahem…clearly not being ‘typically’ Indian in one aspect! 😉 )
