I wondered how long it might be before someone might ask that question. And now it has been posed.

I do let you into little bits of my RL existence from time to time, but the others remain largely ‘anonymous’ in terms of there being any cross-fertalisation between RL & SL. RL is RL, SL is SL. I don’t question anyone’s motives, ever. My co-authors are at liberty to keep their offline lives as private as they wish, or share with us what they wish to.

I knew in advance that Pookes would be away from SLN for two weeks due to what we’ll call a life event, and will be back with us next week.
