I was up early this morning and decided to have me some Second Life time while preparing breakfast. As it happened, I touched down at Eden Naturopolis airport, the first time I’ve been there in a long time. Months? A year? More? My goodness, but how it has changed to be filled with features. I was delighted to find there’s a cafe there now, so I was able to enjoy some virtual OJ while squeezing some real world OJ.
The time on the clock approaching midnight in Second Life time (below) was just coming up to 800am, my time.
With the environment set to midnight the landing lights are shown to beautiful, full effect.
Yes, I had toast and coffee too -the machines in the cafe dispense drinks for you.
Although I’m not sure a chocolate shake was the best breakfast drink.
Tom (photographed above in the cafe) showed me around some planes.
And we sat and chatted on the terrace of the cafe.
Another new feature next door to the cafe is a motel. I had to photograph the sign. They have free wi-fi, so there’s no excuse not to log into Second Life while there.
Tom is photographed (below) at the cafe.
The final two photographs are of the airport as seen from above, and its control tower. I was thrilled to see how much Eden Airport has changed since I was last there however long ago, with a whole new level of detail added.
(Thanks to Howie for giving me a link last week in order for me to generate map references for myself)
