Another of Brazil’s best known naturist beaches is Praia do Pinho. Natalia has been able to tell us that it’s located south of Rio, and ‘six hours flying time from my home in Recife’, so that’s further than England to Greece -the width of Europe- by plane. Little wonder, then, that Natalia hasn’t visited it (or others that we’ll be reporting on in due course). Sometimes we simply don’t grasp the immense size of Brazil here in Europe, when we can pretty much reach anywhere around the Mediterranean, and many naturist havens such as France, Spain or Croatia, from any other spot in Europe, in about three hours flying time.
All photos identified online as Praia de Pinho.
All we have, then, is photographs to give a flavour of Brazil’s take on naturism. I’ve spoken to Natalia at some length about naturism in her home country and her own ‘take’ on how it has flourished as opposed to some other south American countries in subsequent explorations of Brazil’s naturism.
