In naturism, pubic hair has been almost extinct for a decade. There are (ahem!) one or two intrepid enthusiasts for the natural look, but going totally bare in naturism has been the norm in young and old alike. We usually think that depilation is a younger generation’s phenomenon, but mature female naturists have been shaving for a long time now.

From observations on the beach, it would appear that the razor is being put away more regularly this year. We aren’t into a 70s style jungle here, ladies and gentlemen, but I’ve detected that a neat trim is now a much more prevalent style in the younger and middle (30s, 40s) generations. The older generation, however, seem to still be adopting the shaved look.

As I recall, the older generation were last to adopt a shaved look, so perhaps they’re going to be the last to abandon it. I’ll continue with these observations as the week progresses.
