Paris has approved plans to open a naturist park within the city! 😀

It rather looks as though this would be located in one of Paris’s two main woods – the Bois de Boulogne to the west, and Bois de Vincennes to the east, near a lake.

I’m going to stick my neck out here and suggest that the Bois du Vincennes will emerge as the favoured location. As you can see from the maps, the Bois du Boulogne is very close to what we might regard as central Paris, with landmarks like the Champs Elysses, the Eiffel Tower and the Arc D’Triomphe  all within walking (or Metro) distance. So in the middle of ‘tourist Paris’ and therefore right within ‘nudist tourist’ country, with people potentially heading off to see if they can ogle a few naturists.

By contrast, while not ‘out in the sticks’, the Bois du Vincennes is a little further out of ‘tourist Paris’, in the 12th arrondissement, and therefore likely to attract the sort of day-trippers (or as many, anyway) that such a venture might produce.

Either way, it is a very welcome development that I look forward to seeing progress.

Also, the Bois du Vincennes is probably laid out in such a way that it would more readily lend itself to a certain ‘wild’ aspect that would replicate many French naturist sites further south. To my mind the Bois du Boulogne is a little more formal in its layout.

Remember that within Second Life Lupe’s Magical Forest is naturist woodland you can explore, and probably the closest thing you’ll find to (parts of) either the Bois du Boulogne or Bois du Vincennes in SL, for naturist purposes.
