Real life’s Burning Man festival is a gathering of the weird and wonderful out in the desert of Nevada.

Second Life has its own version, Burn2.

Its Octoburn runs from 15th-23rd of this month, and I can’t wait to visit as Ella, Pookes and others have previously visited the Burn2 sim and have said it’s a spectacle of colour and imagination.

You’ll find the slurl for Burn2 here…but be warned that as it’s getting set up right now access isn’t possible just yet.

As it’s a collection of hippy-styled ideas and culture, I thought I’d get into the mood with a hippy outfit from Ayiki swimwear. It comes with a colour-change hud so you can mix and match different styles.

It’s a free gift (L$0), so there’s no excuse not to arrive at Burn2 looking the hippy part!

I would rather hope that SLN2 will maintain some sort of presence at Burn2, even if it’s only in a personal capacity. The galleries above should give you some sense of the relaxed nudity at the event, and we’ll certainly do our bit to provide a bit of nakedness at the SL version in a couple of weeks time.
