I’ve been over to Amarylis Dream, the rebranded Blue Lagoon Naturist Estate and…just wow!

I’m really hoping that it maintains its credentials as a naturist community, and doesn’t go down that ‘clothing optional’ route that will definitely dilute its feel. Work continues on it, but already, from a week ago, it has progressed hugely. I’ve taken some photos. All are unedited, as I wanted to get these posted to give you a flavour of the place. Some sims are works in progress, others haven’t begun yet, others feel finished.

Some locations, Cancun, St. Tropez, Miami, obviously have some sort of real life naturist credentials. Not sure about Dubai, though. I’m looking forward to seeing the German and French sims complete to see if they have a kind of familiar (to me) naturist ‘feel’ about them. There’s also their airport -a huge build in itself- a main mall, which I assume will be a central events location, and even extensive fire station. As work progresses and we get down to the finer detail, it’ll be interesting to see how much of it will maintain naturism as acceptable and even predominant.

It would be a pity if such a fine build abandoned its former values to textilism. The proof will be in the pudding.
