I’ve become convinced that, like a summer holiday, Christmas is a time when people can ‘let their guard down’ a bit.
Many women who would never contemplate going topless (or nude) at home will happily shed their bikini top, or more, when taken out of their usual habitat and routine. It’s a time to do things that are a bit ‘silly’.
The same goes for Christmas. Another, different, holiday period when people’s inhibitions are lowered.
A time when a bit of dressing up can fit easily with a bit of dressing down.
I’ve previously spoken of naturists loving a bit of dressing up with toga parties and suchlike. Beyond (but including) the naturist community it seems that people are willing to shed a few clothes, add a Santa hat, and pose willingly for cameras when they might not otherwise wish to do so.
And further aided and abetted by ‘lingerie’ sometimes being a ‘go to’ gift by a significant other. Often inappropriate (for the person it’s intended for), uncomfortable and in the wrong size…but I suppose it’s the thought that counts.
Another thing that lends itself to a bit of ‘racy’ (in some people’s eyes, merely ‘naturist’ or ‘nude’ in others, is that gifts for men often include ‘mens’ toys’ by which I mean electronic devices, sometimes including cameras and video recorders. Men seem to love these sort of gifts at any time. Put the holiday together with lowered inhibitions, perhaps a little bit of alcohol or Buck’s Fizz on Christmas morning and the scene is set!
While many of the photos above don’t feature naturists, they feature people in a nude setting, and believe me, every naturist viewing will recognise scenes from their own lives, or photos submitted to genuine naturist sites (I belong to one which features our members -and ourselves!- in very similar settings. The purpose is to normalise nudity and naturism at all times of the year).

What a great bunch of fun Christmas pics !!! We too know that joy as we have a few of our own…….lol (Ms. K )
Indeed we (naturists) do. I’ve been assembled around a Christmas tree at a naturist swim for photos. We’ve taken them by the tree on Christmas morning. I’ve posed in the snow. Not really what we’d normally accept as ‘naturist’ photos but still genuinely naturist all the same! 🙂
